The workshop sits at 5 Young Street in East Devonport, a blue shed with the name across the front and the phone number underneath it. Inside, the work is the ordinary, unglamorous business of keeping cars on the road on the North West Coast: services, brakes, clutches, suspension, alignments, and the diagnostic work that comes before any of it.
What customers write about most often is not the mechanics of it. It is being fitted in when something went wrong, being kept in the loop, and having somebody walk them round the car and show them the actual problem. Helpful in a friendly professional way and the fee was reasonable. Worthwhile to visit this business! I took my car for it's 200,000 km service today.
